Privacy notice

Offroad RGV treats your details the way we would want ours treated: collected only when needed, kept only as long as it serves a purpose and never traded away.

What passes through the site

Two kinds of information touch this site. The first is what you choose to type, such as a message through the contact form with your name and how to reach you. The second is routine technical detail that any web server notes to keep things working and secure, such as which pages were viewed and the general kind of device used.

  • The details you enter in a form
  • The message you send us
  • Routine technical and usage information
  • Your language choice between English and Spanish

Why we hold it

If you send a message, we use it to answer you, to point you at the right page or to shape a future guide around your question. We do not build a marketing profile from it, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers. When the reason for keeping a message has passed, we remove it on a sensible schedule rather than hold it forever just because storage is cheap.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell reader information, full stop, and we do not share it with parties whose only interest is to sell you something. Where a service provider helps us run the site, it sees only what it needs to do that job and is expected to protect it. There is no list of Valley readers for sale anywhere, because we would not want to be on one.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask that it be corrected or ask that it be removed, and we will act on that where the law allows. To make a request, send a note through the contact form and describe what you want. We may need to confirm who you are before we change or delete anything, which protects you as much as it protects us.

  • Ask what we hold
  • Ask for a correction
  • Ask for deletion where the law allows

Keeping this page current

If the way we handle details changes, this page changes with it, and the current version always governs a visit. We would rather tell you plainly that something shifted than bury a change in fine print, because trust about a beach or a lake and trust about your data come from the same habit of being straight. Check back here if you want to stay sure of the current practice.
